Bridesmaids

I decided from the beginning that I was going to order the Bridesmaids dresses online, since my three bridesmaids live in three different states, and I was pretty sure I was going to use Bridesave.com because they had the biggest selection. Had some fun with that today. Turns out the dress I selected was unexpectedly discontinued. Yay!

Luckily, the dress that I first selected but nixed due to an ugly flower on the backside was available sans ugly flower, so I ordered that one and stress was minimal. Check it out:

vendormania

I've started trying to tie down some vendors in earnest, as the ticker in WeddingChannel.com says I am overdue on these things and I want to take advantage of the spare time I have right now that I won't have in the future.

The reception hall was by far the hardest thing, and I am glad that is done, but now there are so many little things, like...

Vendors I am considering:
DJ- Paul Eason from A Good Time DJ
Baker - Frederick's Pastries, recommended by Geoff's mother.
Florist - Bella Fiore Weddings, although I begin to wonder why I don't just buy some artificial stuff from Save-on-Crafts; they have some mighty cheap bouts.

Vendors I have booked:
Photographer - Brett Alison Steiner
Officiant - John Preve, a friend of Geoff's family, will be our minister
Invitations - I am making my own invitations, see below

Save the Date

I made a save-the-date magnet:

I found a company that prints "magnetic business cards" very inexpensively called Vista-Print, so I reworked the image to fit on a business card. Delivered fast and looks great too! Highly recommend this service.
